The money has come for Sami Brookes, James Michael and Sophie Habibis to be among the acts to leave the first live show of the X Factor.
It was revealed earlier this week that the promised twist was that four acts would leave the first live show and that it would be one from each of the categories.
This has opened some additional X Factor betting markets, in relation to which of the 16 acts it will be which exit the competition.
The twist appears the harshest to Kelly Rowland’s girls’ category, where all four acts are arguably capable of winning the show.
It is Sophie who is considered the weakest of the four and she is the only odds-on act to leave in their respective category at 10/11.
Craig Colton was initially seen as the most likely to leave among the boys, but it is James that has now taken over favouritism.
James was originally 15/8 to be the first boy eliminated, but this has now shortened to 5/4.
In the over 25s, Sami is easily the luckiest to even be performing on the live shows as she was called up as a late replacement for Goldie Cheung, who decided to pull out of the competition.
She is 7/4 to leave first, despite Johnny Robinson being the rank outsider of all 16 acts to win the show at 50/1.
The final category is the groups and again it is not the outsider of the four groups to win the show that are the favourite to be eliminated first.
Rhythmix are considered the least likely to win the X Factor, but Essex duo 2 Shoes are the 2/1 favourites to leave first, which is certainly the toughest to call in terms of elimination based on the betting.
