BBC chiefs are reportedly keen on adding the Girls Aloud star to the judging panel, and our traders have this morning slashed odds from 2/1 to just 10/11 on her doing exactly that.
After stints as a judge on the X Factor and The Greatest Dancer, could Cheryl be about to step up to the Beeb’s prime-time role?
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “With Bruno’s spot on the next Strictly judging panel looking increasingly unlikely, it seems Cheryl is now a shoo-in to take his place this year.”
