Joe Wicks is well-accustomed to ensuring his body remains a temple, but the nation’s PE teacher could soon be heading for Buckingham Palace if our odds are anything to go by.

That’s because the fitness guru has been priced up at just 5/1 to receive a knighthood at any point in his lifetime.

The Body Coach hosted his final online PE class this week and has played a crucial part in keeping the country fit and healthy over the last few months.

And while a knighthood may be some time off, he could yet scoop the 2020 BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.

Tyson Fury is the current favourite at 3/2, but Wicks is firmly in the running behind Marcus Rashford and Lewis Hamilton at 10/1.

Jessica O’Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “The Body Coach became the nation’s PE Teacher without being asked, and his efforts could well be rewarded at the highest levels.”
