Lady C fans (cue tumbleweed) were left devastated this morning following the news that the I’m A Celebrity contestant has left the show on ‘medical grounds’, making her the second campmate to walk following Spencer Matthews.
Arguably the most talked about celebrity on the series, and perhaps in the history of the show, Lady C was widely known for her run-ins with fellow campmates, and as a result her popularity amongst the public waned.
First sparking controversy after her refusal to take part in a dish-washing task after Tony Hadley named her the least hardworking campmate, it was all downhill from there.
She then went on to become embroiled in the biggest scandal of the year – #SoupGate – where she was defiant in withholding a can of soup from starved campers.
Being one of the most ‘marmite’ characters on the show, it’s been a mixed bag of reactions from the public. Some were delighted with her departure, and couldn’t wait to share their elation at the news…

Whereas others weren’t too excited at the prospect of a camp minus the entertainment…

idk whether I’m happy or sad that lady c has left the jungle ?? — Beth (@bethjjackson) December 2, 2015
Love her or hate her, Lady C certainly spiced up camp life and made for a great watch, whether you were shouting or laughing at her, and she caught the attention of many for her eye-opening conversations…
The royal author was very much an outsider in the betting world at 20/1 before her leave, and as things stand Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattinson is still a strong favourite for jungle glory at 4/6.
