Celebrity Big Brother will soon return to TV screens and while many of you will sigh indignantly in a bid to offer a high brow image of yourself, your friends and workmates know you’ll be tuning in just like them.

CBB is never going to win any awards for its programming but in the cold nothingness that is January there is little more satisfying than watching a bunch of wannabe, nevergonnabe and werebutnotgonnabeagain celebs making fools of themselves.

We’ve already given you a rundown of some of the best fights to have taken place in the Big Brother house but now things take a turn as we highlight the five weirdest moments from CBB:

Julie Goodyear and that banana!

Coronation Street’s Julie Goodyear and Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp being waited on by golden pants-clad male models – so far, so CBB. But wait, where’s he going with that banana? Surely not! Oh. My. God!

George Galloway being a cat!

Fancy yourself as a serious politician? Think an appearance on a reality TV show will boost your profile and ensure your voice is heard by the masses? Best get on CBB and pretend you’re the feline friend of 70s actress Rula Lenska then!

Coolio and Mini-Me doing a ‘drive-by’!

Faded gangsta rapper Coolio was the gift that kept on giving. Keen to show housemates like La Toya Jackson and Terry Christian just how ‘hood’ he was the rap star jumped on the back of Verne Troyer’s disability scooter armed with a bottle of Volvic!

Jedward get ‘vajazzled’

Yep. That happened! Irish X-Factor flops get their bits jazzed up by Essex vagina designer Amy Childs. And they put it on TV. The very definition of car crash television!

Galloway (again) and Pete Burns do the robot!

Galloway donned a skin tight leotard for this interpretive dance made weirder still by the presence of the off-the-wall Burns. When Michael Barrymore and Dennis Rodman look shocked you know you’re in trouble …
