One’s dropped just three games in this tournament and is unbeaten this year, the other is a former US Open champion who is back to his after destroying world number four Robin Soderling in the third round.
Novak Djokovic and Juan Martin del Potro are on course to meet in the semi-final of the Sony Ericsson Open and today’s fourth round matches see both players available at short odds to progress.
Novak Djokovic vs Viktor Troicki
Djokovic’s incredible form over the course of the year has seen him end Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer’s dominance of the betting markets and the Serbian is the 11/8 favourite to win in Miami this week.
Up next for Djokovic is his fellow countryman Viktor Troicki and if previous matches between the two are anything to go by, the 1/20 for Djokovic to win seems like great value.
The two have met six times in the past 12 months and Djokovic has won all six, three in straight sets, two that have gone the distance and one where Troicki retired.
The two met earlier in the month when Djokovic won 6-0, 6-1 and a straight sets victory for Djokovic is available at 1/6.
Juan Martin del Potro vs Mardy Fish
After watching del Potro destroy Robin Soderling in the previous round it’s hard to make a case for backing Mardy Fish at 3/1, especially when del Potro defeated the American resoundingly just a month ago.
Del Potro is 2/9 to win this afternoon and a repeat of that straight sets victory is 8/13.
Should del Potro win he would have to navigate either David Ferrer or Marcus Granollers in the quarter-final before setting up a semi with Djokovic.
While Djokovic has looked invincible this year, del Potro is 6/1 to win this week and is hungry for his first title since a long lay-off and could be the force that finally stops Djokovic.
A £20 stake on Juan Martin del Potro winning the Sony Ericsson Open would return £140. New customers can sign up here to get £60 in free bets.
