Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes has been announced as the Ladbrokes Premiership Manager of the Month for March following his side’s fine run of form.
The Dons enjoyed a perfect month, notching three straight top-flight wins without conceding a single goal.
Having suffered a 1-0 reverse away at Hamilton Academical on 28 February, McInnes’ side quickly put that straight with their own single goal victory over Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals.
And Aberdeen built on that momentum in their next league fixture when defeating Motherwell by the same scoreline.
Premiership rivals Heart of Midlothian were then vanquished 2-0 at Pittodrie before the Dandies put the icing on the cake at Dens Park.
Defender Andrew Considine netted a hat-trick as Aberdeen ran riot against Dundee, eventually going on to win 7-0.
McInnes’ outfit are now 12 points clear of third-placed Rangers and will look to confirm their superiority when Pedro Caixinha’s side come to town this Sunday.
