Celtic striker Moussa Dembele has been named the Ladbrokes Premiership Player of the Month for February following a series of stunning performances.
The 20-year-old ace bagged six goals in three top-flight games and nine goals in total across league and cup.
The month started with a superb hat-trick from the bench in a 5-2 hammering of St. Johnstone at McDiarmid Park and ended with a two-goal salvo in the Hoops’ 2-0 win over Hamilton Academical at Parkhead.
Sandwiched in between that glut was another three-goal haul with Inverness Caledonian Thistle on the receiving end in the Scottish FA Cup.
Dembele also netted in a routine home victory over Motherwell with his total haul standing at 32 goals in all competitions, including 17 in the Ladbrokes Premiership to take him top of the scoring charts.
And this accolade isn’t the first time the French star has seen his efforts recognised, having also been named Player of the Month back in September.
