It was more gritty than pretty, but Dundee United battled back from behind to beat Greenock Morton 2-1 at Cappielow in the first leg of their Ladbrokes Premiership play-off Quarter-Final.
And you can expect the Tangerines to comfortably see off the Ton in the second leg at Tannadice, with the pair experiencing hugely contrasting form.
Ray McKinnon’s men haven’t lost in their last seven games, and just don’t know when they’re beaten. They’ve come from behind to take something from each of their last three games – two of which have come against Morton.
For their part, the Greenock outfit haven’t won in their last 10 games, losing six of those.
So the 10/1 for Dundee United to come from behind and win is definitely worth a flutter.
For those looking for a slightly safer selection, the pair’s regular scoring makes the 14/5 for the Tangerines to win and Both Teams to Score worth backing.
And United are generally very punctual in finding the net. In four of their last nine games, the Tayside outfit’s first goal has come between the 21st and 31st minute. So getting on them to score in that bracket once again could be a very savvy bet at 13/2.
But who are we tipping up to do the damage in front of goal?
For the hosts, we think it’ll be Blair Spittal. The winger has netted in three of his side’s last four matches, registering the final goal of the game on each occasion. There’s 11/4 on offer for the 21-year-old to net anytime, while 8/1 says he’s Last Goalscorer once again.
Meanwhile, Lawrence Shankland has scored in three of his last six outings for Morton, and the Glaswegian forward is 13/5 to register again at Tannadice.
In the match betting, United are 8/11 favourites, with 18/5 for the Ton to enjoy victory and 5/2 for honours-even on the night.
