Boris Johnson: One in three bets reckon baby will be called Winston

One in three Ladbrokes punters reckonthat Boris Johnson and Carrie Symonds will name their baby after WinstonChurchill, according to our traders.
We can reveal that the latest figures following BoJo’s baby announcement show that a staggering 33% of all bets placed so far favour Winston at 20/1.
But while it may be a frontrunner among political enthusiasts, it’s not the favourite in the betting.
That honour goes to George and Thomas, both of whom occupy the space at the front of the market at 16/1.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Punters haveswarmed into shops up and down the country since Boris’ announcement lastweekend and everyone seems to think the PM will opt for the name Winston forhis next born.”
