Great Brrrrr-itain: UK set for coldest winter on record?

Our traders have slashed the odds of this winter being the coldest on record.
It’s now just 2/5 that we’re in for a record-breaking winter, having been 1/2 only last week.
Temperatures reached as low as -13 in Scotland on Thursday, making it the coldest night so far this year.
With snow forecast for Thursday and Friday, the mercury could plummet even lower in the coming days.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Extreme conditions are set to batter Britain and we’ve slashed odds on this winter being a record-breaker as a result.”
