James Bond Betting: Norton & Heughan favourites for 007 role

It is now just a two-horse race to replace Daniel Craig as James Bond, according to our traders.
James Norton currently heads the betting at 2/1, with Sam Heughan close behind at 3/1, while every other name is now 6/1 or bigger in the betting.
Craig will be leaving the role after fourteen years, following his fifth and final assignment in ‘No Time To Die’.
The name’s Norton? Possibly. The Grantchester star has been in the running for the role for some time and remains favourite for role after successful stints in Happy Valley and McMafia too.
Outlander’s Sam Heughan is also firmly in with a shout and looks to be Norton’s only major challenger in the market at the moment.
The bookies are reporting a flurry of bets on the top two in the betting over the past seven days to play 007 next.
