Victor Ludorum now 9/4 favourite for French 2000 guineas

Our traders have trimmed the odds on Victor Ludorum to win Monday’s French 2000 Guineas.

There’s been plenty of market movement, with Earthlight and Pao Alto now non-runners. As a result, our racing traders have clipped Victor Ludorum into 9/4 favourite from 7/2 for Monday’s showdown.

The three-year-old tops the betting, ahead of Ecrivain at 11/4 and The Summit at 5/1.

In the French 1000 Guineas, Tropbeau is 9/4 favourite, with Simeen at 7/2 and Dream and Do at 6/1.

Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “There has been plenty of changes to the French 2000 Guineas with Earthlight and Pao Alto both non runners. Victor Ludorum is the one punters want to get behind, with many backing him to do the Guineas/Derby double.”
