There are six meetings in America on Saturday withthe feature being the mammoth 14 race Florida Derby card at Gulfstream Parkstarting at 15.30.

Horse To Watch

2018 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner Newspaperofrecordhad the world at her feet after an undefeated juvenile campaign, however, ChadBrown’s filly failed to win in three starts as a three-year-old.

She returns to action in the Sand Spring Stakes(19:34)as she looks to get her career back on track.

Race To Watch

The Kentucky Derby has been postponed untilSeptember but the Florida Derby (22:36) remains a major trial.

Over the years the race has produced 24 KentuckyDerby winners including Barbaro, Big Brown, Orb, Nyquist and Always Dreaming.

This year’s renewal looks typically strong with Tiz The Law 11/10 favourite heading the market. Barclay Tagg’s colt has won three of his four starts, including the Grade 1 Champagne Stakes on just his 2nd start.

He started his three-year-old campaign with a 3-length victory over Ete Indien (5/1) who went on the frank the form by landing the Grade 2 Fountain Of Youth Stakes is also one of the favourites.
