US Racing Betting Tips: Will Rogers Downs and Fonner Park on Tuesday

WillRogers Downs
Lane Luzzitops the list of hot jockeys at the Oklahoma track. The son of racing legendMike Luzzi, Lane has managed five winners from his last 15 rides, an impressivestrike-rate by anyone’s standards.
However,getting on the scoresheet here could be a difficult task given the projectedodds of some of his rides. Rivals Floyd Wethey Jr, Ty Kennedy and David Cabreraare all in action and Kennedy has been riding as well as ever of late.
He takes five rides for Robertino Diodoro and a further three for other trainers. The partnership has proved deadly so far this season and My Wise Cat (21:15) could see them in the winner’s enclosure yet again.
The son ofFlashy Wise Cat has won three of his last four starts under Kennedy and despiteonly getting up by ¾l last time, that trip might have been shorter than ideal.He’s eased in grade here and looks to have another excellent opportunity tocome home in front with an extra furlong sure to play to his strengths.
Kennedy might have an even better chance aboard Arm Candy in the following race (21:45). Scott Young’s charge has been knocking on the door under his regular pilot and was beaten by ½l in each of his last two runs.
Theopposition in this race is particularly uninspiring and a repeat of either ofhis last two performances should see him well clear of his rivals.

FonnerPark
The Nebraskatrack starts the second day of its additional fixtures and while up-and-comingDakota Wood is back in action, it could pay to side with Fonner stalwart – and ironman – Armando Martinez.
The veteran is in the form of his life and it’s probably because he knows Fonner’s dirt course better than his own back garden – he’s been riding at the track for almost 35 years. His rides to pay most attention to on Tuesday are Want To Be Cowboy (22:27) and Giant Gamble (00:15).
His wifeKelli sends out Want to Be Cowboy in the second race following an excellentdebut where he won by over 6l.
He has acouple of questions to answer, though, including over the step up in trip andhow he’ll cope after a two-month absence. The market will be informative so itcould be worth paying close attention to how he fares in the betting.
Giant Gamble (00:15) lived up to his name last time; his odds plummeted, and he was a wire-to-wire winner, holding on to win by a nose from his rivals. It could be worth seeing how he runs as he has collateral form with two horses running in the final race on the card.
There was nosplitting Green Card and Shepherd’s Pride who both finished just behind him andif Giant Gamble boosts the form it would make those runners veryinteresting.
