US Racing Betting Tips: Our trader previews Thursday at Gulfstream
Gulfstream Park’s Spring Meet continues on Thursday evening with another ten-race card which will be live on Sky Sports Racing from 18:00.
Our man on the trading floor, Ian Rozzier, takes us through the Leading Jockey, Leading Trainer and his Horse to Watch before the action gets underway.
Leading Jockey
Tyler Gaffalione is in sparkling form in the saddle and has ridden seven winners from his 16 rides at the Spring Meet.
He has another strong book of rides on Thursday as he looks to extend his lead at the top of the Jockey’s Championship.
Tyler Gaffalione rides: Dizzy Sight (18:30), Mayito (19:00), Reiterate (19:31), More Than Usual (20:03), Quiet Company (20:34), Frank First/Holy Muchacho (21:05), Volubile (21:36), Blewit (22:07) & Mighty Road/Primacy (22:38).
Leading Trainer
Kenneth McPeek has his horses in fine form and has trained three winners from six starters at the Spring Meet, including a double here last Thursday.
He has two runners on the card as he looks to continue his rich vein of form.
Kenneth McPeek runners: Holy Muchacho (21:05) & Indian Counselor (22:07)
Horse to Watch
Luis Saez and Todd Pletcher have been firing in the winners this year and look to have another great chance with Moretti in the 22:07.
The son of Medaglla d’Oro cost connections $900,000 as a two-year-old and whilst he has been a slow learner this looks like the perfect opportunity to land his second career victory.
