Our man Mark Underhill previews therunners and riders on tonight’s racing from Will Rodgers Downs.

He gives us his insight on the track’sninth card of their Spring Meeting with the first of ten races scheduled tostart at 7.15pm.

So far, the meeting has been dominated by jockeys Floyd Wethey Jr. and Ty Kennedy who have ridden 23 winners between them. They’ve also both finished in the top three on over half of their mounts with the pair having a strong book of rides again on Monday.

Wethey Jr.’s eleven wins at Will Rogers Downs sofar this year included a treble last Tuesday.

While four of his five rides on Monday are for theleading trainer at the track Scott E. Young, who’s also already up to elevenwins here during the Spring Meeting.

In the 8.45pm they team up with three-year-old filly Long Ride Home who won here over this distance under Wethey Jr. three weeks ago. She’s less exposed than most of her rivals and wouldn’t need to improve much on that reappearance effort to win this modest claimer.

The pick of Kennedy’s six booked mounts looks to be Emily’s Pegasus who runs in the sixth race at 9.45pm. The daughter of Fusaichi Pegasus is trained by Robertino Diodoro, who currently sits second in this year’s Will Rogers Downs trainers’ table with nine winners from his 32 runners at a strike rate of just over 28%.

Emily’s Pegasus has finished in the first two onfour of her last five starts and was successful under Kennedy on her firststart at Will Rogers Downs on her most recent run.

Floyd Wethey Jr. booked mounts: Affirmatif Song (8.15), Long Ride Home (8.45), Sheza Rockstar (9.15), Daisy Can (10.45), Drip Brew (11.15)

Ty Kennedy booked mounts: Nocturan Mission (7.15), Magically Honored (9.15), Emily’s Pegasus (9.45), Absolute Love (10.15), Leighton Kentucky (10.45), Wholehearted (11.15)
