Swedish Racing tips: Trader talks Amal and Boden

Our racing trader Mark Underhill gives the lowdown on Thursday’s racing from Åmål and Boden in Sweden.
MagnusJakobsson – Åmål
MagnusJakobsson won the drivers’ championship last season with seven winners anda further eleven placed finishes from his 48 drives.
He also won the driver’schampionship here in 2008 and 2016, while in the whole of Sweden he drove 97winners last season at a strike rate of just under 16%.
My SilverLining has won three times for Jakobsson previously and looks to providehim with one of his best chances on Thursday when she lines up in the 12:04.

Carl JohanJepson – Åmål
Jepson managed an impressive 220winning drives in Sweden last year and he has already notched up 46 winners in2020.
The 42-year-old was the championdriver at Åmål in 2017, so certainly knows his way around this tight 800mtrack.
Up New Moonlooks to have a leading chance for Jepson in the 13:27.The four-year-old filly has won two of her five career starts with the winscoming on the only previous occasions that she was driven by Jepson.

Petri Salmela– Boden
Local trainer Petri Salmelais leading the trainers’ table at Boden so far this year having sent out elevenwinners.
Salmela’s horses have picked upover 650,000 Swedish Krona at Boden so far this season and he is operating at astrike rate of nearly 16%.

Mika Forss – Boden
Mika Forssdrove 173 winners in Sweden last season and takes the drive on five ofSalmela’s horses, including likely favourites Yankee Blue (18:52)and B.W.L.Ruthless (19:56).
Yankee Blue has won both of hisstarts since joining Salmela and both of those wins have come at Boden.
B.W.L.Ruthless was beaten atUmåker on his two most recent starts, but success at Bowden on his previousouting where he has notched six of his eight career victories will be in hisfavour.
