Our racing trader Mark Underhill gives the lowdown on Thursday’s racing from Åmål and Boden in Sweden.
Magnus Jakobsson – Åmål
Magnus Jakobsson won the drivers’ championship last season with seven winners and a further eleven placed finishes from his 48 drives.
He also won the driver’s championship here in 2008 and 2016, while in the whole of Sweden he drove 97 winners last season at a strike rate of just under 16%.
My Silver Lining has won three times for Jakobsson previously and looks to provide him with one of his best chances on Thursday when she lines up in the 12:04.
Magnus Jakobsson booked drives: On Stage Indika (11:20), My Silver Lining (12:04), Junilane (12:26), Gracious Class K.W (12:47), Crystal Kiss (13:27).

Jepson managed an impressive 220 winning drives in Sweden last year and he has already notched up 46 winners in 2020.
The 42-year-old was the champion driver at Åmål in 2017, so certainly knows his way around this tight 800m track.
