With this year’s Royal Ascot taking place behind closed doors, we are inviting race fans to celebrate the spectacle from home by donning their most appropriate Ascot attire and sharing a selfie with us @Ladbrokes using the hashtag #hatsfromhome.

With help horse racing fanatic Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo, we will be choosing our favourite effort from Tuesday 16th June who, as well as being shared on Georgia’s Instagram Stories page, will win 2x VIP tickets to next year’s Royal Ascot.

Royal Ascot will take place in 2021 between 19th- 24th June with the winner and guest being invited to the first race day (Tuesday 19th June) receiving VIP hospitality treatment whilst they enjoy a full day’s races.

HOSPITALITY – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This document sets out the terms and conditions on which GVC Group and its group of companies is willing to offer you tickets to hospitality events hosted by GVC Group.  By accepting any invitation to a hospitality event, you will be deemed to have read, acknowledged, and agreed to be bound by, these terms and conditions.

Conduct:  You and your guests are expected to conduct yourselves in an orderly fashion when attending any hospitality events, to comply with GVC Group’ instructions and to refrain from behaviour that is inappropriate or would otherwise cause a nuisance to GVC Group, its other guests or the event venue.  GVC Group operates a zero-tolerance policy on anti-social behaviour, and reserves the right to eject, and to take any further action it deems appropriate against, any person failing to behave appropriately (including, without limitation, anyone using racist, sexist or otherwise offensive language, any person acting violently, any person found in possession of any controlled substance, or anyone found to be intoxicated).

Incidental expenses:  GVC Group will be responsible for purchasing the tickets for the event, and for any expenses reasonably connected therewith, in each case as specified on your event itinerary.  However, you will need to pay for any additional expenses you incur including, where applicable, accommodation costs (except where included in your hospitality package), additional food and drinks you order, mini bar charges, etc.).

Prizes: GVC Group may give away prizes during the course of the hospitality event and the manner in which such prizes are awarded will be confirmed at the event. The prizes may be subject to additional terms and conditions and/or terms and conditions imposed by third parties. GVC Group may for any reason and in its absolute discretion (a) refuse to award a prize; (b) seek recovery of a prize at any time before the prize is received and/or used by the winner (whichever is later); or (c) in circumstances where the prize allows attendance for one or more people at an event, to object to the winner’s chosen guest(s) and require a replacement to be nominated.

Travel:  Where the hospitality event you are attending necessitates travel (domestic or overseas), GVC Group wishes to notify you that you are responsible for making your own travel arrangements (except where included in your hospitality package) and for obtaining your own travel insurance (for the avoidance of doubt, you and your possessions will not be covered by any of GVC Group’ insurance policies).  In addition, where applicable, it is your responsibility to (a) ensure you have an up-to-date passport, (b) obtain any necessary visas, and comply with any other necessary immigration requirements (e.g., for travel to the United States of America, under the ESTA programme), and (c) arrange to have any necessary inoculations.

Tickets not transferable: Except where otherwise expressly agreed by GVC Group, tickets to hospitality events organised by GVC Group are provided for your use only, and as such are strictly non-transferable and must not be sold or otherwise transferred to any third party.  GVC Group reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone to whom you transfer your tickets in breach of these terms. As part of this process, and for security reasons, we may require you (or your guest(s)) to provide a valid form of photographic ID prior to or during a hospitality event. This information may be recorded centrally by us in line with Data Protection principles and our Retail/Digital privacy policy as part of fulfilling our legal and regulatory obligations and will not be used for any other purpose without your consent.

No cash in lieu:  If you are unable to attend a hospitality event to which you have been invited, or if GVC Group (for any reason) needs to or decides to cancel an event or your attendance of an event, GVC Group may, at its absolute discretion, arrange a replacement event, but, for the avoidance of doubt, GVC Group will be under no obligation to do so, and will under no circumstances pay you any cash amount in lieu of the event taking place.

Liability:  GVC Group will not be liable to you or your guests for any loss or damage you suffer (including, without limitation, loss of property, including any personal items left in any cloakroom or coat-check) while attending a hospitality event (provided always that this will not apply to death or personal injury suffered as a result of GVC Group’ negligence).  In the unlikely event that you are responsible for any loss or damage (including, without limitation, damage to the event venue), you acknowledge that you are liable for such loss or damage, and will be required to reimburse GVC Group in the event that GVC Group suffers or is otherwise required  to pay compensation in respect of such loss or damage.

Photography: GVC Group may use you or your guests image or likeness in any live or recorded video display, photograph or picture. All rights to any images and video taken by or on behalf of GVC Group at the event are retained by the GVC Group. Where a video is included as part of the event package, GVC Group gives permission to you and your guest to use the images freely, however, ownership of the images remains with GVC Group.

Photographs may be taken on the day and shared online to celebrate your event. Should you expressly wish for your pictures not to be displayed on our website, please do let us know.

Venue terms and conditions:  In addition to these terms and conditions, you are expected to comply with all applicable terms, conditions and ground regulations stipulated by the event venue (including any mandatory dress-codes).

Governing law:  These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
