I have just one ride on the final day of the Punchestown Festival and that will be on Haut En Couleurs (16:00) in the Champion Four Year Old Hurdle.

He is entitled to improve a lot for Cheltenham. It was a big ask to run him in the Triumph Hurdle on his first run for us. He far from disgraced himself.

He has three and a half lengths to find with Quilixios and I think it will be a different race this time. We are hoping he can find those few lengths of improvement.

There is an interesting runner coming over from France in Mica Malpic for J. P. [McManus) and David Cottin, who won first time out and finished last the next day when something must have been wrong. Zanahiyr didn’t turn up in Cheltenham so I would expect a bigger run from him.

I am quietly confident we can find a bit of improvement from Haut En Couleurs and hopefully that will be good enough to put him in the shake-up again.
