Mogul best backed in the Epsom derby; English King drifts out

Published:

Our traders now have the 5/1 Mogul as the best-backed horse leading into this weekend’s Epsom Derby.

Favourite English King has drifted out to 7/2 from 5/2, while there’s 5/1 about Kameko to reign supreme.

Elsewhere, Love remains the 11/10 favourite for the Oaks, but Enable has been pushed out to 11/10 from 10/11 in the Coral-Eclipse.

He’s closely followed by 9/4 Ghaiyyath and Japan is 4/1.

Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes said: “The Derby looks wide open so we are happy to take on English King. Even though he’s now as big as 7/2, it is Mogul who is attracting the bulk of support.

The same can be said about the Coral-Eclipse. Given its competitiveness, Enable will have to be at her best to win so we are happy to push her price out too.”
