Ourtraders are continuing to flick the page on their atlases with Wednesday’s racingcoming from Tampa Bay Downs in the United States and Bergsaker in Sweden.
With aneight-race card to look forward to at the Stateside venue alongside three trottingrenewals on a nine-race sheet at Bergsaker, our man has given us his insight onboth.
Jockey AntonioA. Gallardo has ridden more winners at Tampa Bay Downs since the start of2019 than any other jockey with 84 wins to his name at a strike-rate of over22%.
Gallardo hasridden five winners here in the last week, including a double on the mostrecent Tampa Bay card on Sunday, and he also looks to have a strong book ofrides at the Florida track on Wednesday.
In the 9:00 he takes the ride on trainer Christophe Clement’s three-year-old Bitcoin Passion, who is Clement’s only runner on the card.
Clement’shorses are in fine form at present with the trainer having won with six of hislast 12 runners. The Frenchman has had 11 winners at a 42% strike-rate at thisvenue since January 2019.
BitcoinPassion justified favouritism to win over this course and distance on his debutback in January and given the current form of his jockey and trainer, a big runshould be expected as he bids to follow up that success in his second careerstart.

There arethree cards of trotting in Sweden on Wednesday, with the nine-racecard at Bergsåker getting underway at 5:27.
The feature race on the card looks to be race six at 7:30 where veteran On Track Piraten lines up in a 60,000 Swedish Krona to the winner open trot over 2140m.
Thegelding has won 46 of his 163 career starts and been placed second orthird a further 47 times, picking up a whopping 18,155,288 Swedish Krona inprize money in the process (over £1.4 million at the current exchange rate).
On TrackPiraten won two races in a row in March last year, but his trainer Hans RStrömberg admits that the 12-year-old has no longer looked quite the force ofold on the track of late, despite continuing to work well at home.
Although the gelding’s many fans will be hoping for a decent showing from ‘Pirate’, his draw in post position eight will make things tough for him. Robert Bergh’s Angle Of Attack is likely to be sent off favourite on his return from France where he won at Cagnes-Sur-Mer on two of his last three starts.
