Dan Skelton on rides at Wincanton, Ascot & Market Rason

We have potentiallythree meetings on this weekend but obviously there are inspections to be passedfirst.

If all goes ahead we start atWincanton, where we have four runners and Harry Skelton will go there for us.

Azzuri (2.12) is first up. He hasn’t been in the greatest of form, but we are happy with him at home and a little bit further might just help him a bit.

Ch’tibello (2.45) looks fantastic and we are very happy with him. On the numbers here, he has an outstanding chance. I just hope the meeting is on and he can run his best. We couldn’t have him much better.

West To The Bridge (3.23) has been in good form recently. The small drop back in trip is helpful on a slightly more forgiving track than Sandown. I think he should have an each-way chance.

Get On The Yager (4.23) has been a bit unlucky recently. He’s an older horse now but has jumped well this week and seems in good health so hopefully we get a good run out of him.

At Ascot, we have one runner and that is Frisson Collonges (4.10) in what looks a very competitive Handicap Hurdle. He ran well at the track earlier this season and was just touched off last time. He does seem to be progressing a bit at home and has a nice enough mark so hopefully he can be competitive.

We go to Market Rasen on Sunday, where Gilka (2.05) runs in the first. She ran okay the other day. I wouldn’t say it was an absolutely blinding run, but it was nice enough. She needs some more experience over hurdles and is in good form at home so we thought we would get her back out there.

Molly Ollys Wishes (2.40) has a leading handicap mark in this race when you take into consideration penalties etc, she will hopefully go close.

I was staggered with the mark that Robin Gold (3.15) got coming over from Ireland. She ran in a chase the other day and fell. I can’t understand how she’s got that mark, and now over hurdles she looks ridiculously badly handicapped too. Willie Marshall rides and takes 7lbs off.

So Lonely (3.15) is in the same race and didn’t run so well the other day either but I hope she comes back to a bit of form soon enough.

Finally, we run Scorched Earth (3.45). He is a four-year-old and gets the age allowance. Hopefully he has a bit of chance. If the handicapper is correct, then he will have.

Fingers crossed the weatherabates and we can prepare for Cheltenham as best we can.
