Dan Skelton discusses his runners on Day Three at Cheltenham

| 12.03.2020

We have two runners in the Brown Advisory Plate (4.10); Oldgrangewood and Spiritofthegames.

Harry will ride Oldgrandewood because he has won on him recently and Bridget Andrews rides Spiritofthegames as she gets on well with him. Don’t read into the jockey selections; both have outstanding each-way chances.

It is such an open race. They haven’t got 10lbs in hand but they know how to win these competitive handicap races. They are both hardy, tough horses.

We run Emmas Joy in the Mares Novices’ Hurdle (4.50) and I would say she has an each-way chance. She is very tough and she will see this trip out well.

We are very happy with Ardlethan who runs in the Kim Muir (5.30). Again, it is hugely competitive. Gina Andrews rides him and she is a very good amateur. I would like to think that this one has an each-way chance.

We have some lovely horses coming to Cheltenham and on Thursday, we have a handful of each-way hopes.
