We are delighted to be jumps racing! It has taken a while for it to come back and it’s great that owners can be on course tomorrow as well.

They have their own owners’ zone, but it feels like a step in the right direction to getting some sort of normality back.

Tomorrow we run ten horses at Southwell and Harry (Skelton) has nine rides. He actually said to me that he’s never had that many on a single day before, so we are very busy. There are some horses in there with chances.

Our horse in the first (12:00), The Last Bar, has jumped nicely and is ready to start over fences after a long time off.

The bumper mare, Ballydun Glory (1.10), looks a nice type of mare and I think she has a future.

We have one in the Novice Hurdle (2.10), Seeusoon who had a run on the flat the other day so he’s fit and ready to go jumping.

“There are others and I think we are going with chances, but the main thing is that we are ready to go jumping.”

In other news, we have got a few of the winter horses in now and we will get the rest of them in next week. We are really starting to gear up for the season and will have the staff and team at full force next week.

We will be working very hard in the lead up to October when it really kicks off.
