Dan Skelton previews his Monday runners at Warwick and Lingfield

As a result of the rescheduling of Saturday’s abandoned Warwick meeting we can now look forward to a big day at the track on Monday where Allmankind will run.

We start the day with Benny’s Oscar (13.50) in the novice hurdle. He is a nice horse who I think is more of a future chaser but he is a nice, genuine six-year-old who has plenty of experience in points.

He runs in a fairly good novice hurdle but we want to get him started. I think he definitely has a future.

Allmankind (14.50) runs in the Kingmaker. The race has always been the plan for him, so I was delighted they put the meeting back on. He’s been good at home and I’ve been happy with how he has jumped.

It’s quite a strong looking race with Sky Pirate and Cheddleton in there and there is one at the bottom getting weight as well. I don’t see why Allmankind won’t go and run another good race.

Mollys Olly Wishes (15.25) runs in a Listed mares race. She has a good rating for the race and has been progressive this season. She has a preference for going right-handed but she has won at Warwick. I would have to give her a strong chance but the French horse Paul’s Saga is going to be very difficult to beat. We will give it a go.

Oldgrangewood and Spritofthegames (15.55) both run in the handicap chase. They take each other on quite a lot because they are good at these types of races.

Spiritofthegames gave himself a cut the last day at Wetherby. I’ve done as much as I can but I am desperate to get a run into him. I could just see him improving a fraction for this.

OIdgrangewood was ready for Cheltenham on New Year’s Day, then the end of January and he has ended up here. Hopefully he can go very close. He is in great form.

Reilly (5.00) runs in the bumper and he is a nice horse. He is more of a jumper for the future but I do like him.

Lingfield runners

We also have runners at Lingfield in the Jumpers’ Bumpers. Whispering Gypsy (13.10) runs in a mares’ bumper. She brings good form from Ireland and I think she will go very well.

King D’argent (15.15) won a jumpers’ bumper last week at Newcastle. This is a slightly different track and running him back quick may be a little negative but I am happy with him.

Azzuri (15.45) doesn’t have much recent form, but I thought this might do him the world of good. He can’t run on bad ground so it’s a good reason to get him out.

Getariver (16.20) is always competitive in these races. I have a feeling she will be better around Lingfield than Newcastle. This will be her third run in fairly quick succession in this sphere so I’m not saying she is a good thing but she is very consistent.

Crooks Peak (16.50) runs in the last, which looks quite competitive. He ran well the other day and I think he has stepped forward a little for it.
