Sottsass doubles in price for the Arc after Longchamp defeat

Sottsass has doubled in price for the 2020 Prix de l’Arc de Triompheafter being turned over as the 2/5 favourite in the Prix d’Harcourt atLongchamp.

Jean-Claude Rouget’s inmate was expected to dot up in the Group2 contest, but could only trail home in fourth behind Shaman, Way To Paris andSimona.  

That below-par run left us unimpressed and we’ve doubled her odds of winning this year’s Arc from 10/1 to 20/1 as a result.

Enable remains the 6/1 favourite to reclaim her crown after last year’s desperate second to Waldgeist, with Logician (14/1), Contrail (16/1) and Japan (16/1) the next best alternatives.

Pinatubo, who is favourite for both the 2,000 Guineas and theDerby, is available at 20/1.
