Ireland look set to regain thePrestbury Cup at the 2020 Cheltenham Festival, according to our odds.

The Irish last won the competition between Ireland and Britain in 2018 when the Emerald Isle recorded 17 victories from 28 races. They’re just 4/7 to reclaim the title after a 14-14 draw last year.

We go 11/2 about another tie, while it’s 15/8 for a British win for the first time since 2015.

WillieMullins and Gordon Elliott will lead the Irish assault on Cheltenham, withEnvoi Allen, Asterion Forlonge and Chacun Pour Soi just three of the heavy dutyfavourites across the week.

With that in mind, our traders make it 7/4 that the Irish record 14 to 16 winners, with 6/4 saying they head home on Friday with 17 or more successes.

NicolaMcGeady of Ladbrokes said: “Every year the Cheltenham Festival sees greatrivalry between the home team and those crossing the Irish Sea.”

She added: “Lastyear the Prestbury Cup was a draw between the Irish and British trainers, butthis year the odds are in favour of the visitors landing the spoils.”
