The sporting calendar continues to look a bit thin on theground, but there’s still sport to enjoy if you know where to look.

Here’s our round-up of what’s scheduled to go ahead on Thursday19th March.

Football

It’s the start of a new season in the Belarussian Premier League, with two matches scheduled to go ahead as the campaign gets underway.

First Zvezda Va Bgu Minsk entertain last year’s league runners-up and regular Champions League entrants BATE Borisov at 14:00, with BATE 1/4 favourites for the three points.

Then Shakhter Soligorsk will take on Torpedo Belaz at 16:00, with the hosts odds-on at 2/5 in the match betting.

Horse Racing

Racing at Turffontein in South Africa continues, with a 10-race card starting at 10:25 in the morning.

That’s supported by a double header in the USA, with cardsat Gulfstream (from 17:00) and Golden Gate Fields (from 19:45) going ahead,both of which are live on Sky Sports Racing.

And there are seven meetings in Australia, starting from theearly hours on Thursday, including Albury, Terang, Pinjarra and Newcastle.

Greyhounds

Greyhounds remains largely unaffected, and Thursday sees a mighty 13 meetings poised to go ahead.

It should get underway with the 8:12 at Waterford, withfurther meetings at Sunderland, Central Park, Perry Barr, Crayford andSheffield during the day.

Evening Greyhounds comes from Hove, Monmore, Newcastle andLimerick.

Basketball

On court action continues over in the Taiwan Super Basketball League, with Taiwan Beer fairly comfortable 1/40 favourites to beat Jeoutai Basketball, before Puaian take on Yulon Luxgen Dinos.

And there’s a Vladivostok derby in the Russian MLBL, withTGMU Vladivostok 1/3 favourites to defeat Basket Club.

NRL and Aussie Rules

Rugby fans can still tuck in to some top-level action, withthe NRL still in play. Canterbury Bulldogs take on North Queensland Cowboys at09:05 in the morning, with the Cowboys 8/11 favourites for the win.

Aussie Rules is another sport which remains largelyun-impeded at this stage.

A full round of games is set to go ahead this weekend,starting with Richmond Tigers v Carlton Blues at 08:35 on Thursdaymorning.  The Tigers are 1/3 favouriteson the money line.

eSports

The world of eSports is managing to keep going too, with apair of LPL Pro matches to enjoy on Thursday morning.

That’s joined by a heap of eSport contests in variousleagues, including the ESEA Advanced Europe, Sigul Pro, Legends Pro and GBBChampionship.
