Who will win the race for Euro 2016 star Hal Robson-Kanu?

At the height of the European Championships this summer, teams were queuing up to sign Hal Robson-Kanu. But as Deadline Day approaches, the Welsh international is still without a club.
Having run down his contract with Reading, Robson-Kanu was expected to quickly find new employers, especially after his starring Cruyff turn and goal against Belgium.
A move to Hull seemed done and dusted, but then Steve Bruce left the Yorkshire side and it’s all gone a bit quiet for the 27-year-old.
As a freebie, Robson-Kanu doesn’t have to do a deal today, of course, but with comments emerging out of the Welsh camp that his place in the squad is under threat due to a lack of game-time, moving sooner rather than later would be advisable.
Hull remain favourites for his signature at 13/8, with the Tigers still short of players despite bringing in Andy Marshall, Ryan Mason and Will Keane this week.
The move would make sense for both player and club, with Robson-Kanu’s industrious work ethic and team-play two prized assets which would greatly assist Hull’s attempt to stay in the Premier League.
A move to the Chinese Super League is second in the betting at 8/1, emphasising how strongly backed Hull are should Robson-Kanu remain in the UK.
Sevilla and Atletico Madrid were also linked with the forward during the Euros, but it’s now 25/1 and 33/1 respectively Robson-Kanu joins either of those Spanish heavyweights.
But for any Premier League team outside of the top eight or so, Robson-Kanu represents a true bargain buy.
He doesn’t have to move today, but from both the player and a potential club’s perspective, he probably should.
