Tottenham will be hoping to reach the last eight of the FA Cup against Premier League strugglers Norwich City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tonight.
Spurs boss Jose Mourinho won the FA Cup with Chelsea in 2007 and he will be hoping to repeat the feat in what looks like being Tottenham’s best hope of silverware this season.
For Norwich, the FA Cup has provided some solace from what has been a difficult campaign. Daniel Farke’s side remain adrift at the foot of the Premier League table but may have turned a corner with victory over Leicester last Friday.
The action gets underway at 7:45pm via the Red Button on BBC iPlayer and we’ve got all the pre-match odds and info right here…
Spurs will start the game as 4/7 favourites as they bid to make home advantage count. Tottenham have progressed to the quarter-finals on nine of the last 10 occasions they’ve reached this stage of the competition.
But Mourinho’s men have needed a replay in both of their FA Cup matches so far this season against Middlesbrough and Southampton after 1-1 draws away from home. If the scores remain level after 90 minutes extra time and penalties will be played with a price of 17/5 for a draw.
Can Norwich spring a surprise? The Canaries are 9/2 to win in 90 minutes having already beaten Preston and Burnley away from home. They’re 5/2 to progress by any method as they bid to reach the quarter-final for the first time since 1992.
Both sides have fresh injury woes and will be missing key players tonight.
Spurs will be without Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min and Moussa Sissoko, while Hugo Lloris is missing with a groin problem. Erik Lamela looks set to return with Gedson Fernandes pushing for another start.
Dele Alli looks set to continue in a false No.9 role with Tanguy Ndombele looking to start in the centre of midfield in a 4-3-3 formation alongside Harry Winks.
Norwich will sweat on the fitness of top scorer Teemu Pukki and midfielder Alexander Tettey. Both players missed training through illness this week. Christoph Zimmermann (hamstring), Onel Hernandez (knee), and Sam Byram (hamstring) all remain side-lined.
Goals seem likely in this one and Lucas Moura is 6/5 to score anytime and 11/2 to net two or more. Alli 11/8 to score anytime as the pair hope to fill the void left by Kane and Son.
Pukki is 4/1 to break the deadlock with Todd Cantwell 11/4 to score anytime in the match. Both teams to score is priced at 2/3 with over 2.5 goals in the match at 3/5.
