Southampton v Fulham betting tips: Hasenhuttl eyes back-to-back wins
Published:Southampton are in the middle of a three-game spell of home matches and with Danny Ings back in the fold they will be hopeful of defeating relegated Fulham.
Ings scored a double in Tuesday night’s 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace after a two-game absence and Saints are evens to make it back-to-back wins on Saturday.
We have pinpointed some of the trends to help punters with their Southampton v Fulham betting tips.
Match Odds
Saints have had a wretched 2021 with Tuesday’s victory only their fourth of the new year and one which ended a five-game winless run.
The teams shared a goalless draw at Craven Cottage on Boxing Day and another stalemate is priced at 12/5 while the visitors are 14/5 to win despite losing six of their last seven games.

There have been goals at both ends in Southampton’s previous six Premier League games at St Mary’s and both teams to score is priced at 3/4.
However, Scott Parker’s dispirited side have found the net just four times in their last 10 games and at least one team not to score is available at 19/20.
Southampton to win or draw, Fulham under 0.5 goals in the first half and under 3.5 goals in the match can be backed at evens as a #GetAPrice bearing in mind the Cottagers have scored just once in the opening 45 minutes in 15 outings.
Talking Tactics
Ralph Hasenhuttl revealed centre-back Jan Bednarek came off at half-time with a leg injury and he is doubtful to face Fulham, so Mohammed Salisu could get his sixth start of the season.
Hasenhuttl will deploy his usual 4-4-2 against Fulham, who started with Aleksandar Mitrovic up front in the 2-0 defeat by Burnley which sealed their relegation.
Goalscorer Odds
Mitrovic is 13/2 to get the first goal of the game having scored four in three World Cup qualifiers for Serbia recently which he supplemented with a strike against Aston Villa.
However, Ings is the hot favourite at 7/2 to get the ball rolling, 13/8 to score and 9/1 to bag another double against a team that have only conceded three more goals than Leicester.
Che Adams atoned for his miss against Liverpool by scoring in between Ings’ double and he is priced at 11/2 to break the deadlock and 23/10 to find the net once again.
