Real Madrid v Barcelona: How to watch, where, when and match odds
The attention of football fans all over the world will be on the Spanish capital this Sunday, as Real Madrid and Barcelona renew rivalries in the 244th edition of El Clasico.
These matches are always fiercely contested. But with just two points separating the pair at the top of the La Liga table, this weekend’s battle could prove pivotal in the title race.
Where is Sunday’s El Clasico?
With the first El Clasico of the season taking place at Camp Nou back in December, this weekend sees the return fixture at Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu.
Los Blancos have won 52 of their 89 meetings with Barcelona at the stadium. Barca themselves have recorded 22 victories away from home; while there have been 15 draws.
When is Real Madrid v Barcelona?
It’s always handy to know when kick-off is ahead of a big match like this.
And the latest edition of El Clasico will get going in the UK at 8:00pm on Sunday 1st March 2020.
Where can I watch Real Madrid v Barcelona?
The second El Clasico of the season will be available to watch in the UK at 8:00pm, live on La Liga TV.
What is La Liga TV, we hear you ask. La Liga TV is a relatively new channel available to UK-based subscribers which shows 24/7 La Liga coverage, including live matches.
La Liga games are also available to watch on sister channels Premier Sports and FreeSports.
What happened last time?
The meeting earlier in the season was more dramatic for events off the field than on it.
Their original fixture at Camp Nou on 26th October was postponed until 18th December due to the threat of violent protests in Catalonia.
When the game eventually took place it ended in a 0-0 draw. That made it the first goalless stalemate between the pair in La Liga since 2002.
What are the Match Odds?
Barcelona may be top of the tree but it’s Real Madrid who’ll start as favourites. Los Blancos are 6/5 for a three point haul which would see them leapfrog their rivals at the summit.
