West Ham v Watford Betting Tips: London derby a key relegation battle

West Ham host Watford in what could be a decisive game in the battle to avoid relegation tonight.

A win for either side would all but secure their Premier League status barring a significant goal difference swing, with the loser perilously positioned with two games to play.

With safety being worth a reported £120m, there’s plenty on the line. Will the Hammers be blowing bubbles or will the Hornets be bursting them?

MATCH ODDS

The last time West Ham won back-to-back Premier League games was in August against Norwich and then tonight’s opponents Watford. They are 13/10 to repeat the feat. Watford are 11/5 to claim all three points whilst a draw is 2/1.

Watford have lost their last four away games without scoring, however, and the Irons are 13/5 to win to nil. But the Hertfordshire side have won their last two matches 2-1, and a third-straight win by that scoreline is 10/1.

TALKING TACTICS

David Moyes could name an unchanged side after the 4-0 thumping of Norwich. Sébastien Haller bagged a brace when these sides met at Vicarage Road and could provide an exciting option from the bench.

Watford have drawn a blank in nine of their eleven defeats on the road this season. This means the Hornets’ need for an away goal may see a switch to 4-4-2 with Danny Welbeck partnering Troy Deeney up front.

GOALSCORER ODDS

After his four goals at Norwich, Michail Antonio has six goals and an assist in his last four games. He’s 4/1 to open the scoring tonight and 18/1 to score and assist.

Watford’s talisman Deeney is 7/4 to score anytime and 10/1 to bag another brace. Welbeck got back on the scoresheet in spectacular style ten days ago with an overhead kick and is 3/1 to score tonight.
