Monday

08:40, Sky Sports 2: Adelaide Strikers v Sydney Thunder – Jacques Kallis’ Thunder must win their two remaining games in order to qualify for the knockout stages. Surrey’s Jason Roy opens the batting with him.

13:00, BBC Two: Judd Trump v Stephen Maguire – Alexandra Palace sees a tasty first round match at The Masters, with the world’s seventh and eighth ranked players doing battle. Trump is favoured at 2/5.

Tuesday

09:00, British Eurosport 2: Oman v Australia – The Socceroos got their Asia Cup campaign off to a perfect start with a 4-1 win over Kuwait, they look to build on that against Paul Le Guen’s side.

19:45, BT Sport 1: West Ham v Everton – Romelu Lukaku’s late equaliser forced this FA Cup replay, with the pair battling it out for the chance to play either Doncaster or Bristol City.

Wednesday

19:00, Sky Sports 1: Real Sociedad v Villarreal – David Moyes has only lost twice since taking over at Sociedad in November, with the Scot even beating Barcelona in that time. Unfortunately both losses have come against Villarreal, in the cup.

19:55, BBC One: Ipswich v Southampton – Another FA Cup replay takes over the midweek TV schedule, with the winners of this one due to play Crystal Palace in the next round.

Thursday

05:30, Sky Sports 4: Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship – Pablo Larrazabal is the defending champion here as the European Tour takes in the Middle East.

19:00, Sky Sports 1: Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid – Either side of this local derby, Atletico have had to face Barcelona in the league. They head to the Bernabeu defending a 2-0 first-leg lead.

Friday

19:45, Sky Sports 3: Leicester v Scarlets – If a different shaped ball is more your thing, then Leicester’s Champions Cup battle with the Scarlets is the place to go. The hosts have won three of the last four meetings.

Saturday

15:00, Channel 4: Clarence House Chase – Sprinter Sacre is the obvious attraction in a field including Dodging Bullets and Sizing Europe at Ascot.

17:30, Sky Sports 1: Newcastle v Southampton – Still managerless at the time of writing, Newcastle host a Southampton side still clinging to hope of a European place.

Sunday

13:30, Sky Sports 1: West Ham v Hull – Super Sunday gets underway with the Hammers looking for a seventh home win of the season and first in three league outings.

16:00, Sky Sports 1: Man City v Arsenal – The day’s main event sees the defending champions host the Gunners, a repeat of last season’s 6-3 would round the sporting week off nicely.
