Two of the surprise packages in the seasons Premier League go head to head at the Liberty Stadium and it is Swansea that are expected to build on their impressive campaign with victory at Premier League odds of 10/11.
The two have not faced each other on a regular basis in the league over the years, but in the last five league meetings, the home side has emerged victorious on all barring one occasion.
Meanwhile, Norwich haven’t won on either of their two visits to the Liberty Stadium, which has become something of a fortress this season.
In fact, the only visiting team to win at the ground all season is Manchester United.
Despite sitting in the top half of the table, Norwich have only won three games away from home in the Premier League and all of these successes have come against teams currently in the bottom six, which enhances the likelihood of a Swansea triumph.
Only Manchester City have conceded fewer home goals in the league this season than Swansea and so 11/8 to keep a clean sheet also seems a good bet.
This is additionally enhanced by the fact that two of the last three league encounters between the two sides have ended in home wins to nil.
Too many goals should not be expected though as despite Swansea’s excellent home record, only Anfield has witnessed fewer Premier League goals this season.
Because of this, Swansea to win 1-0 at 6/1 is the most enticing of the correct score offerings.
Scott Sinclair to score the first goal at 5/1 seems a fair price given that all of his seven league goals this season have come at the Liberty Stadium and of those seven, four have been the opening goal of the game.
Norwich have conceded the most penalties in the league this season and if called upon, Sinclair will be confident of extending his 100 per cent record from the spot this season.
Some punters may find the 25/1 especially appealing in the scorecast market that Swansea win 1-0 and Sinclair scores the only goal.
