Manchester United defender Chris Smalling could be set for a huge summer move to Arsenal, according to our latest odds.
The 30-year-old centre-half is currently on loan at Serie A side AS Roma. And while we make him 1/2 to make that switch permanent, it’s now just 15/8 that the Gunners strike a deal when the transfer window reopens.
Elsewhere, our traders reckon it’s a 4/1 shot that Smalling reunites with Jose Mourinho at Tottenham, with 6/1 on offer about a move to fellow Premier League side Everton.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Smalling’s move to Roma has worked wonders for the centre-half, who is seemingly a wanted man with four clubs priced 6/1 or shorter for his signature.”
Should the ex-Fulham man make the switch to the Emirates, he’d be the latest in a long line of players to swap Old Trafford for North London, after Mikael Silvestre, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Danny Welbeck.
