Odds continue to fall on Arsenal losing Sanchez & Ozil next summer

Nine points off league leaders Chelsea, four wins from their last 10 games in all competitions, and an ever-growing number of fans jumping on the ‘Wenger Out’ bandwagon. That’s the position Arsenal currently find themselves in.

And things could be set to get a whole lot worse for the north London outfit, as odds on star duo, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez leaving the club next summer continue to fall.

Right now, it’s 7/4 for the former to move on at the end of the season, while 2/1 says Sanchez follows suit. And that’s the shortest price either player has been this year to leave the Emirates.

With contract talks between player and club continuing to stall, it’s now Chelsea that lead the way in the race for Sanchez’s signature at 4/1, having been as long as 12s last month.

Both players are huge admirers of boss Arsene Wenger, and it’s thought the Frenchman was the main reason they joined. But with speculation growing that this could be his last season in charge of the club, it’s thought Sanchez and Ozil will move on too.

And we’re offering odds of 8/1 for the pair to both leave next summer.

Meanwhile, it’s odds-against at 6/4 for the French gaffer to win one more trophy with Arsenal.

A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “It hasn’t been the best of seasons for Arsenal, and the latest odds suggest their two main men could jump ship at the end of another year without silverware.”

What do fans think? Will Ozil and Sanchez stay in north London, or are the Gunners likely to lose their two best players next summer?
