Roberto Martinez may be facing an uncertain future at Goodison Park, if the latest Ladbrokes odds are to be believed.
The Everton manager has become fourth-favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post at 10/1 while the Spaniard is also 11/4 to leave the club in the summer.
It follows a 2-0 loss to Stoke in the Premier League that has left the Toffees dangerously close to becoming embroiled in a relegation dogfight.
Everton had started the season as 125/1 outsiders to drop down into the Championship this term but the Blues are now just 10/1 to go down with the bookmaker.
But with the Toffees still in Europa League contention, a price of 500/1 is also being offered on Martinez winning the trophy but taking the Merseysiders down to the second tier this term.
A replacement may already be waiting in the wings with former Swansea manager Michael Laudrup the 8/1 favourite to step into the Everton hotseat.
Club favourites Alan Stubbs and Duncan Ferguson are also in contention at 10/1 and 12/1 respectively with Vitor Perreira and Thomas Tuchel both 14/1.
A Ladbrokes spokesperson said: “The odds suggest that Martinez’s pursuit of Europa League glory could come at a heavy price for both the manager and club.”
Everton are next in action against Dynamo Kyiv next week, with the Toffees in Premier League action on the following Sunday when they are due to host Newcastle United at Goodison Park.
