Frank Lampard clear favourite for Crystal Palace hotseat

Former Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is the overwhelming favourite to replace Roy Hodgson at Crystal Palace this summer.

Lampard is odds-on at 1/4 to take over at Selhurst Park, with Sean Dyche and Barnsley boss Valerien Ismael back at 4/1.

Steve Cooper (7/1) and Eddie Howe (8/1) are the only other names currently shorter than 14/1.

Hodgson will be stepping down after almost four years at Palace, having kept the Eagles in the top-flight for the entirety of his reign.

Lampard led Derby County to the Championship play-off final in his first year as a manager, before taking over at Chelsea ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.

The Blues finished fourth in the league and reached the FA Cup final, though Lampard was replaced by Thomas Tuchel back in January after a run of disappointing displays.
