Crystal Palace are making late moves for Norwich striker Gary Hooper and QPR midfielder Adel Taraabt, according to reports.
The Eagles broke their transfer record earlier today to sign James McArthur from Wigan but having seen Marouane Chamakh sidelined through injury new boss Neil Warnock is tabling a £5m bid for canaries forward Hooper.
The Carrow Road man joins Ipswich Town striker David McGoldrick, Leicester forward Chris Woods, Wolverhampton’s Kevin Doyle and Sochaux striker Cedric Bakumbu on a list of potential strikers but the £5m bid appears to put Hooper in pole position.
Taarabt could be a trickier deal to pull off with the Moroccan international recently enjoying a loan spell at AC Milan.
However, the former Tottenham star was reportedly seen hurrying away from Loftus Road and many believe reading and Palace are vying for his signature.
Despite their signings so far the Selhurst Park club remain an 8/5 shot for relegation but that price may get longer before 11pm if Warnock can land his men.
