Andros Townsend’s Newcastle United odds drift – for this simple reason

He had been odds-on to swap Crystal Palace for a return to Newcaslte today, but now it seems Andros Townsend looks set to stay with Eagles.
Having been a 4/11 shot to join the Magpies, Townsend is now out at 7/2.
And the reason is simple – Townsend is in Palace’s squad to play Bournemouth tonight.
And it’s away at Dean Court.
Basically now the former Tottenham man is as far away from St James’ Park as is pretty much possible.
The only hope for those who have backed the England international to move is Palace’s desire to get Mamadou Sakho’s deal over the line.
