AC Milan favourites for Aubameyang – Chelsea 10/1 after Morata move

The future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang remains very much up in the air, despite the Borussia Dortmund ace being on the market all summer.

A move to Chelsea looked on the cards, but the Blues have since signed Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid.

And that’s had a big impact on Aubameyang’s odds.

Once 6/4 to head to Stamford Bridge, it’s now a somewhat unlikely 10/1 that the Dortmund ace does become a Blue this summer.

And Chelsea’s place at the top of the betting has been taken by AC Milan.

The Serie A outfit have splashed the cash this summer, following the arrival of new owners at the San Siro.

Milan have already spent £150m on a number of players during the off-season.

Though they’ve signed the highly-rated Andre Silva from Porto, the Italian giants have yet to announce a top-line proven goalscorer.

Aubameyang has 85 Bundesliga goals in 128 games for BvB, so he certainly fits the bill.

Milan lead the betting at 9/2, with Chelsea bumped into second at 10s.

It’s 12/1 the Gabon international heads to Liverpool.

And there could be something in that, if Philippe Coutinho does indeed join Barcelona in the wake of Neymar’s expectant move to Paris Saint-Germain.

It’s 16/1 Aubameyang moves to the French capital himself, with Manchester City and Real Madrid each 20/1 to sign the 28-year-old.

The forward has been with Dortmund since 2013, when he arrived from French side St-Etienne for £11m.

It means the Bundesliga side are on course for a substantial windfall should their star man move on, with Aubameyang unlikely go for anything less than £60m.
