Premier League betting tips: Wins for Manchester City and Liverpool?

Premier League games continue to come thick and fast with the top two sides both in action this evening. The champions Liverpool travel to Brighton and Manchester City host Newcastle United.
There are four mighty clashes under the lights tonight as managers begin to tinker with their line-ups as the season reaches fever pitch.
The race for Europe continues as Sheffield United and Wolves face-off at Bramall Lane and there’s a relegation scrap for good measure as West Ham aim to pull away from the bottom three against Burnley.

Manchester City v Newcastle United (Wed, 18:00)
Pep Guardiola will be looking for a response after their surprise defeat at Southampton at the weekend against a Newcastle side who are on a six-game unbeaten run.
City may have lost three of their last six in the Premier League but their home record is formidable and they begin the match as 1/10 favourites with Newcastle a distant 22/1 for three points.
City are still without Sergio Aguero, so Gabriel Jesus is likely to start despite going nine games without a goal. He’s 5/6 to score anytime tonight.
Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden should return to the starting XI following substitute appearances at St Mary’s on Sunday. Foden is 7/2 to score first after three goals in his last two home games.
The Magpies have a top ten finish in their sights but they face a tough task against a City side hoping to cement second spot. Allan Saint-Maximin and Miguel Almiron are both doubts.

Sheffield United v Wolves (Wed, 18:00)
Can Wolves hold onto sixth spot? They travel to a resolute Sheffield United on the back on a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Arsenal last time out.
The Blades will be right back in the mix for Europa League football if they can beat Wolves and they are 14/5 to move one point behind the visitors.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are the 23/20 favourites with a draw priced at 2/1. Raul Jimenez is the club’s top scorer and he is 10/3 to open the scoring. Diogo Jota is 3/1 to score anytime.
For the hosts, one win in five is not the form of a side with European aspirations, but their impressive 3-1 victory in their last home match against Tottenham will fill them with confidence.
Oliver McBurnie is 10/3 to score anytime and Lys Mousset is 23/10 on the same market having both found the net versus Spurs. Both teams to score is 6/5 odds.
West Ham v Burnley (Wed, 18:00)
Both teams head into this game confident they can take all three points. West Ham (10/11) are fighting for their Premier League status and have claimed four points from a possible six from Chelsea and Newcastle.
Meanwhile, Burnley have turned a corner following their 5-0 hammering against Manchester City to string together a three-match unbeaten run. The Clarets are 3/1 to win despite being 15 points better off than the Hammers.
When the sides met earlier in the season, Sean Dyche’s side romped to a 3-0 victory. Chris Wood was on the scoresheet on that occasion and the New Zealander is 15/8 to find the net anytime tonight.
Andriy Yarmolenko was the hero against Chelsea at the London Stadium. The winger could be rewarded with a start by David Moyes and he is 9/5 to score anytime. Michail Antonio is 5/1 to score first with Jarrod Bowen 11/2 on the same market.
Brighton v Liverpool (Wed, 20:15)
Jurgen Klopp’s side face a tricky trip to the seaside against an inconsistent Brighton. The Reds are 4/7 favourites having won eight of the last ten league games against the Seagulls.
One more win should cement Brighton’s spot in the top-flight next season. They are 19/4 to beat the league leaders having already claimed points against Arsenal, Leicester and Wolves. A draw is 29/10.
Liverpool have 100 points in their sights as they bid to win the Premier League by a record points margin. However, Klopp’s side have lost four of their last five away games in all competitions having failed to score in any of those five matches.
The Reds will be expected to win at the Amex Stadium with Mohamed Salah 11/2 to score two or more in the race for the Golden Boot. Sadio Mane is 7/2 to break the deadlock with Liverpool 8/5 to win to nil.
