Premier League betting tips and odds

After a busy week of European action, the highlight of this weekend’s Premier League games is Sunday’s clash between Liverpool and Manchester United.

We’ll have a separate preview of the game at Anfield but for now the focus is on three other televised games and one extra for our Premier League betting tips as we go in search of another jackpot.

Last week, we landed a 49/1 four-fold thanks to Liverpool beating Crystal Palace by under 3.5 match goals (29/20), Aston Villa defeating Arsenal (23/10), Manchester City winning at Luton and conceding (17/10) before Son Heung-min’s penalty put the icing on the cake by giving us a 13/10 winner on at least four goals in Tottenham’s clash with Newcastle.

This week’s acca can be backed at 31/1 and we start with Friday’s match at the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest v Tottenham (Fri, 20.00, Sky Sports)

Steve Cooper remains the favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job despite ending a four-match losing run at Wolves last weekend.

Cooper was reportedly on the brink of the sack after the 5-0 mauling at Fulham but Forest earned a 1-1 draw at Molineux.

Tottenham halted a five-match winless run, during which they took just one point, by dismantling injury-ravaged Newcastle 4-1, so they head to Nottingham probably the more confident of the two sides, especially Richarlison who struck twice to end a near three-month goal drought.

Spurs have scored and conceded in seven successive matches, so for the first of our Premier League betting tips we’ll go with the visitors to win that way at 21/10 against a Forest team that have lost their last two home games.

Manchester City v Crystal Palace (Sat, 15.00)

City were in Champions League action on Wednesday night and have been without star striker Erling Haaland for the last two league games with a foot injury but they are expected to prove too hot for ailing Palace even if he fails a fitness test.

The Eagles lost key players Odssone Edouard, Sam Johnstone and Jefferson Lerma to injury during last week’s 2-1 home defeat by Liverpool during which Jordan Ayew was sent off and is therefore suspended.

With key players Eberechi Eze and Tyrick Mitchell also sidelined, it could be a long afternoon for Palace who have picked up just one point from their last five matches.

Palace have only once lost both halves this season but with their injury troubles a second defeat that way looks on the cards at 5/4 as the next of our Premier League predictions.

Burnley v Everton (Sat, 17.30, Sky Sports)

Everton’s 10-point deduction for breaching Premier League financial regulations is already starting to look like a distant memory after winning their last three matches without conceding to move out of the relegation zone.

The Toffees were 2/1 for the drop when they were hit with the sanction but victories against Nottingham Forest, Newcastle and Chelsea have seen their odds drift to 13/2 in the Premier League relegation odds.

Burnley are only off the foot of the table on goal difference and it should be noted their two wins came against the other promoted teams who, like the Clarets, are also in the bottom three.

Confidence is growing at Everton, who have been better on the road than at home this season, so Sean Dyche to engineer a win against his former club at 11/10 looks the way to go.

West Ham v Wolves (Sun, 14.00, Sky Sports)

The last of our Premier League betting tips sees West Ham looking to bounce back from last week’s 5-0 rout at Fulham when they host Wolves on Sunday.

The Hammers had taken 10 points from a possible 12 prior to their drubbing at Craven Cottage, so in general their form has been good.

But it’s been a mixed set of results lately for Wolves, who lost back-to-back away games at Fulham and Arsenal before they followed a narrow victory over Burnley with a 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest.

One trend worth noting regarding Wolves is that both teams have scored and there have been at least three goals in their last four away games.

That market would have paid out in four of the last six games involving West Ham, who have failed to keep a clean sheet in nine successive matches, so both teams to score and +2.5 goals at 6/5 concludes this weekend’s picks.
