Pochettino to replace Guardiola as Manchester City boss?
Mauricio Pochettino is favourite in the betting to replace Pep Guardiola as manager of Manchester City, according to our traders.
The ex-Spurs boss has been out of work since leaving Tottenham last November and he looks like being Pep’s most likely replacement should the Spaniard leave the Etihad. As things stand, Pochettino is 5/2 to be next Manchester City manager.
Elsewhere, Brendan Rodgers is the surprise second-favourite at 5/1, with Nuno Espirito Santo an 8/1 shot in the betting. Both managers have had successful spells in charge of Leicester City and Wolves respectively. Could one of them be set for big move?
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Pep could soon be calling time on his City career and as things stand it’s now Pochettino who leads the way to replace him in the dugout.”
