Ole Gunnar Solskjaer enjoyed a honeymoon period in his first few months in charge of Manchester United. But divorce proceedings might not be far away, according to the latest odds.

The Norwegian boss has watched his side tumble out of both the Champions League and the FA Cup in the last few weeks.

And with United struggling to break into the top-four, our traders go 4/1 that Solskjaer gets the boot at some point in 2019.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Plenty of heads were scratched when United announced they were giving Solskjaer a three-year-deal and it’s a decision that might come back to bite them in the next few months if the latest odds are anything to go by.”

It’s Everton at Goodison Park next for Solskjaer and United. They’re a 5/4 chance to wrap-up those all-important three points in the race for fourth-spot.
