Odds slashed on Jordan Henderson winning BBC SPOTY

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is now second favourite to win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year, according to our latest odds.

We now have the Liverpool skipper priced at 8/1 (from 16/1) for the annual BBC gong.

In a calendar year where Henderson has won the Champions League and has led Liverpool to a 25-point gap at the top of the Premier League – his stock is continuing to rise.

This combined with his efforts in raising funds during the COVID-19 pandemic has the Reds captain well in the frame to claim another trophy for his mantelpiece.
