Nagelsmann early favourite to be next Spurs boss, Brendan Rodgers 7/1

Julien Nagelsmann - RB Leipzig

Julian Nagelsmann is the early favourite to replace Jose Mourinho at Tottenham Hotspur, according to our odds.

Following Mourinho’s shock dismissal, we’ve priced up his most likely replacement, and as things stand it’s RB Leipzig boss Nagelsmann who leads the way at 3/1.

Mourinho’s sacking came as Spurs prepare to take on Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday. Spurs are 5/1 to win the Carabao Cup.

Elsewhere, it’s bad news for Leicester fans, with Brendan Rodgers priced at 7/1 to take over the north London outfit, while Max Allegri and Nuno Espirito Santo are 10/1 apiece.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “Mourinho’s been sent packing and it’s Nagelsmann who is the most likely name to step in and replace the Special One at Spurs, although Brendan Rodgers is currently sitting as second-favourite, worryingly for Leicester supporters.”
